About us
We believe that we can save life
The Mustaqbal Center for Special Needs is a non-profit, non-governmental institution established in Somalia to cater to the specific requirements of individuals with disabilities.
This includes children with special needs, as well as blind, deaf, and physically impaired individuals. Since its inception in April 2016, the organization has been actively working towards creating a suitable and nurturing environment for these individuals, with the aim of restoring their psychological well-being and facilitating their integration into society.
Driven by the urgent need to address the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in Somalia, the Mustaqbal Center for Special Needs stands as the first of its kind in the country to support individuals with Autism and other special needs. It recognizes the significant number of children and individuals with special needs who lack access to specialized care and support. By providing dedicated schools staffed with trained teachers, Mustaqbal focuses on the social, intellectual, cognitive, perceptual, and linguistic development of each individual, tailoring their programs to meet their specific needs.
